He is a father in love with his three children.
And, like many parents during the pandemic, James Corden revealed that he usually steals some quiet time alone, hiding in the bathroom.
The 42-year-old host of the Late Late Show also said he would go to Weight Watchers with his mother when he was just 11, while chatting with Oprah Winfrey for a WW webinar.

Reflecting on how life has changed in the past 12 months and affected his home life in Los Angeles, James said he is known for working in the bathroom.
According to The Mirror, he said, ‘My new pandemic hobby is hiding in the bathroom just to read and write emails. I’m like, ‘I’m just going to the bathroom, kids’ and I could be there for 40 minutes reading and writing emails.
‘It is a miracle that my wife did not kill me or leave me during this time. Be honest. Who would like to walk a mile in their shoes? It holds our entire family together. ‘
James and his wife Julia Carey are the parents of their three children – Max, 10, Carey, six, and Charlotte, three.

In another part of the interview, James reflected on his weight and revealed that he started going to Weight Watchers when he was a child and lived in High Wycombe, England.
He said: ‘I used to go to Weight Watchers with my mom when I was 11 or 12 and it’s the only thing that worked for my mom.’
James added that his family still participates in the newly named WW and does a ‘zoom weigh-in’ every three weeks to celebrate if any of them have lost weight.
The star, who recently revealed that she has lost more than one stone in five weeks, also said she would like to ‘experience a day under 200 pounds’.

James told Oprah: ‘When I met my wife, I was 280lb (20th). When I started in WW, I had 236 pounds and now I have 220 lb. I would like to try a day under 200 pounds. I’m really going to try to keep this up. ‘
To achieve this goal, James said he needs to ‘change his relationship’ with food, saying he sometimes has a hard time when his kids want things he can’t eat.
The TV presenter explained how they had been eating pizza recently and he was devastated that he couldn’t eat it, however, he came up with a smart solution.
James said that he and Julia ended up making a chickpea pizza that doesn’t have a lot of cheese and ended up being delicious and making him ‘smug’.
And looking forward to Sunday’s Golden Globe, where he is nominated for best performance in musical or comedy, James said he keeps his awards in a closet.

James added that he is not sure if it is ‘good’ to see his compliments all the time, as he believes that people can ‘get away’ if they think they are ‘more expensive’ than they are.
James joins other stars DJ Khaled and Robbie Williams in representing the WW brand and using the platform to get in shape and change their lives.
The TV star, who first appeared on TV screens in the 2000 series Fat Friends, said: ‘Weight is not the problem, it is the well-being that I am ready to face. I will enjoy this year and work to stay healthy …
‘If 2020 taught us anything, it was that taking care of yourself should be a priority. I called WW because I absolutely believe they have the tools to help me make that change. ‘
James comments on life in confinement and his weight comes after his very sincere interview with the Duke of Sussex, 36, which aired days before the royal set to have a chat with the American TV Queen: Oprah Winfrey.
In the segment that was filmed for James’ The Late Late Show, Harry and the comedian are seen talking on an open bus, rapping to the theme of Fresh Prince of Bell Air and taking a military-style assault course.
Meghan Markle also revealed that her nickname for Prince Harry is Haz during her short appearance via FaceTime.
