Trailer for ‘The Real World Homecoming: New York’: WATCH

The first trailer for The Real World Homecoming: New York is here and should probably come with a content warning for the Generation X audience: “The video you are about to watch can cause intense feelings of nostalgia, a lump in your throat, bleary eyes and the realization that you are officially # old . ” In case you missed it, the new Paramount + streamer recently brought together all seven cast members from the original 1992 MTV installment in New York The real world and put them back in the same loft in SoHo that made them (and the show) famous. There has been a tight limit on any and all information about the series, so today’s promo of approximately two minutes gives you the first chance to see what happened when seven OG reality show stars left their daily lives to live together once again and having their lives digitally recorded, this time in the middle of a global pandemic.

To get the maximum emotional impact, you should really stop reading now and just click play. If you insist on spoilers (very mild), however, the trailer confirms that each of the seven cast members looks great (although Andre’s hair is still out of control); Heather and Julie B. are still the best roommates of the season; and like the rest of the country, our seven strangers are still fighting over the racial issue. In addition, Soul II Soul’s Back to life it is still a congestion. The first installment of the six episode The Real World Homecoming: New York begins broadcasting next Thursday, March 4, the same day that the current CBS All Access becomes Paramount +.
