Emma Watson’s manager denies rumors that the actress is retiring from acting

Despite the online conversation, Emma Watson is not failing to act.

Rumors started to spin on Thursday morning after the Daily Mail suggested that the “Harry Potter” star would be stepping down to focus on settling down with his partner, Leo Robinton.

According to the report, “Emma Watson was ‘dormant’ according to her agent. This seems like film language for her to give up acting. ‘”

But according to Jason Weinberg, Watson’s manager at Untitled Entertainment, the report is simply false.

“Emma’s social media accounts are inactive, but her career is not,” he said Weekly entertainment in a statement.

She was last seen on the screen in “Little Women” by Greta Gerwig as Meg March. And while she is best known for her role in “Harry Potter” as Hermione Granger, she won critical acclaim from Disney’s live-action “Beauty and the Beast” and “The Perks of Being a Flower Wall”.
