Despite the success of WandaVision at Disney +, Marvel Boss Kevin Feige said today in his first TCA that some series will have second or third seasons, while others will move to a feature film, and in the case of one WandaVision 2nd season, Feige has no plans yet. Instead, Feige said that the first season of WandaVision will move straight to the next sequence of MCU resources Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
“I’ve been at Marvel for a long time to say a definite ‘No’ to anything like a second season of WandaVision,”Said Feige.
“Lizzie Olsen is going to start from WandaVision to the Doctor Strange film, ”said the Marvel boss.
Feige said that Marvel is mapping their Disney + series as they mapped their MCU.
Disney + @ TCA: full term coverage
“The fun of the MCU is obviously all the crossing that we can do between series, between films. So this will vary according to the story. Sometimes it goes to the second season, sometimes it goes to a feature film and comes back to a series, ”said Feige.
“Sometimes, and yet to be announced, we are thinking and planning second seasons for some of the next series,” he added.
Mrs. Marvel, which should debut at Disney + later this year, will move to the Captain Marvel 2 film, Feige also emphasized today.
“The goal is to expand the Marvel crowd,” he said.
