Update: Refueling of the PS5 started at the Sony Direct store, with the site randomly choosing people to buy the console. Below are the two versions in stock. So far, our waiting time is listed as “more than an hour”.
A new replenishment of the PS5 in the United States is taking place today on the Sony Direct website, and this comes with the usual caveats: the hard-to-buy console will go fast.
Only 22 minutes of waiting for the PS5 to be replenished on Sony Direct. Has the inventory improved? Or am I just getting lucky after so many attempts? pic.twitter.com/L581wEyniAFebruary 10, 2021
Sony includes three notices with this PS5 refueling. First, you will need an active PSN account to complete the purchase. Second, you will have 10 minutes to purchase the PS5. Third, “PS5 consoles are now available, but are not guaranteed even if you are in the queue,” according to Sony.
This is your second chance to buy the PS5 this week, after GameStop quickly sold out of its PlayStation 5 stock in a few minutes. And those were packages.
Refueling on the Sony Direct PS5 was quiet for most of February, but the good news is that the site forms a virtual queue and your order in the queue is decided at random.
This means that your chance of getting a PS5 will not be reduced by the page load and the speed of your bandwidth. This has been a big problem when trying to order a PS5 from stores like Walmart and Best Buy, which have crashed consistently after a PS5 went on sale.
