Mod Sun you may want to grab a turtleneck the next time you want to keep your relationship a secret … because a huge “Avril” tattoo on your neck exposed what everyone is thinking – he and Avril Lavigne are in a serious relationship.
A hawk-eyed TMZ producer saw the tattoo on Mod’s neck after the musicians were seen leaving the BOA Steakhouse in WeHo. Sources close to the situation told TMZ … the tattoo is 100% real because, as our source put it, there is no way that Mod would EVER get a “temporary tattoo”.
As for when he got the new paint – we were told it was very recent. It makes sense, because there has been speculation that they are connecting since the collaboration on the new song “Flames”.
Our sources would not confirm a romantic relationship … but, as they say, the writing is on the Mod – in addition, they said that they are “enjoying each other’s company”. Feel free to read between the lines of the tattoo.

As we showed you, Avril and Mod hit GOOD on WeHo Thursday night. No PDAs when they came out and greeted some fans, but Mod was very gentlemanly while helping Avril with his whip.
If you check the neck … all signs point to Avril having found a new Sk8er Boi.
