Rapper Casanova, whose legal name is Caswell Senior, was assaulted on internal department charges after a woman recorded him accepting the TikTok #junebugchallenge virus during a video visit, The Journal News / lohud.com reported.
The goal of #junebugchallenge is to dance in the strangest places imaginable, but a prison in New York may not have been the best choice as an inmate.
In the short clip posted on Casanova’s Instagram page, the rapper can be seen dancing in a prison cell. The photos were also posted on the Instagram page.

Recording videos and taking pictures during a video visit is prohibited by the Westchester County Department of Corrections.
The Westchester County Department of Correction has revoked Casanova and the woman’s video visit privileges, said Westchester Corrective Commissioner Joseph Spano. Casanova faces another internal charge for not wearing a mask.

“I am happy to say that we do not have too many problems with video visits because prisoners know it is a privilege, not a right,” said Spano.
Casanova is in federal custody as part of an extortion case against 18 alleged members of the “Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation” gang and is being held at Westchester County Jail in Valhalla, NY
The gang is accused of a litany of crimes, including the September murder of a 15-year-old teenager in Poughkeepsie and fraud in programs aimed at people suffering from economic difficulties due to the pandemic.
Casanova, currently hired by Roc Nation, was charged with conspiracy to commit extortion, conspiracy to distribute controlled substances and possession of firearms. He is not accused of killing the child.
Created in Brooklyn’s Flatbush section, Casanova is known for hits like “Don’t Run” and, more recently, “Set Trippin”.
