Elizabeth Chambers breaks her silence about the Armie Hammer controversy

Elizabeth Chambers is weighing in on the recent drama surrounding ex Hammer Armiesocial media scandal.

The Hollywood Reporter reported on Thursday, January 28 that Call me by your name director Luca Guadagnino and star Timothée Chalamet are in negotiations to get together for a film adaptation of the Camille DeAngelis romance Bones and everything. The project tells the story of a woman who goes in search of her father in hopes of finding out why she wants to kill and eat people who show affection for her. THR did not indicate whether Armie, who co-starred in Call me by your name, is involved in the project.

In an Instagram post shared by Just Jared, the project is described as a “cannibal love story film”, which apparently caught the attention of Armie’s ex-wife.

“No. Words.” Elizabeth wrote succinctly. The comment quickly accumulated more than 1,700 likes and 130 responses.

Elizabeth offered no further clarification for her observation, but it is likely a reference to the recent outcry over a collection of direct messages allegedly sent by Armie that went viral earlier this month. The alleged messages included reports of sexual acts and other explicit fantasies.
