Greene, who represents Georgia’s 14th congressional district, has frequently posted extreme right-wing and unmasked conspiracy theories on its page, including the groundless conspiracy QAnon that launches former President Donald Trump into an imaginary battle against a sinister gang of Democrats and celebrities who abuse children.
In a January 2019 post, Greene liked a comment that said “a bullet to the head would be faster” to remove Mayor Nancy Pelosi. In other posts, Greene liked the comments about the execution of FBI agents who, in his view, were part of the “deep state” working against Trump.
In an April 2018 Facebook post, Greene wrote conspiratorially about the Iran deal, one of former President Barack Obama’s foreign policy achievements. A commentator asked Greene, “Now are we going to hang them ?? Meaning H&O ???”, referring to Obama and Hillary Clinton.
Greene replied, “The stage is being set. Players are being put in place. We must be patient. This must be done perfectly or the liberal judges would dismiss them.”
After CNN contacted Greene, his personal Twitter account
posted a statement in which she did not deny that she liked the posts and responded to the comments, but said that many people have their Facebook page.
“Over the years, I have had teams of people managing my pages. Many posts were liked. Many posts were shared. Some did not represent my opinions. Especially those that CNN is about to publish on the internet, ”she wrote.
Greene did not specify whether she or a member of her team was behind the posts reviewed by CNN’s KFile.
CNN contacted Pelosi’s office to comment several times, but received no response.
Although his term in Congress lasted only a few weeks, Greene is already facing requests to leave the House for his role in fanning the flames of the Capitol insurrection earlier this month, after she opposed the electoral certification process and falsely insisted that Trump would remain President.
After Democratic Representative Jimmy Gomez called for Greene to be expelled from the House for his role in the insurrection, Greene condemned the violence on Capitol Hill and falsely accused “Antifa / BLM terrorism” and Democratic politicians of fomenting the insurrection.

Last week, Greene faced resignations from the survivors of the Parkland shooting after Media Matters reported that she agreed with comments calling the 2018 shooting a “false flag” operation, which refers to acts designed by perpetrators to look like were carried out by other individuals or groups.
CNN’s KFile found additional comments from Greene, where she called David Hogg, a survivor and activist, “#littleHitler” and spread a conspiracy that he was a “bought and paid little pawn” and actor.
Before running for Congress in 2020, Greene created a White House petition in January 2019 to accuse the mayor of “crimes of treason”, citing Pelosi’s support for so-called sanctuary policies that “are serving the illegal and not to the citizens of the United States “and because Pelosi did not support Trump’s border wall.
In a speech, promoting the petition, Greene suggested that Pelosi could be executed for treason.
“She is a traitor to our country, she is guilty of treason,” says Greene in the video, which she posted on Facebook at the time. “She took an oath to protect American citizens and comply with our laws. And she gives help and comfort to our enemies who illegally invade our land. This is treason. And by our legal representatives and senators they can be expelled and no longer serve our government. . In another Facebook Live broadcast from inside Pelosi’s office on February 22, 2019, Greene suggested that the mayor “will either die or be in prison” for his “betrayal”. Notably, Greene never mentions a trial. In another broadcast later that day, she suggested that Representative Maxine Waters of California was “as guilty of treason as Nancy Pelosi”.
In comments on his Facebook posts, often promoting the petition, Greene liked a comment that said “by way of removal or death, it doesn’t matter, as long as she goes”, referring to Pelosi, and another that encouraged Greene to “beat Pelosi’s butt.”
The petition for impeachment and removal of Pelosi for treason accumulated more than 420,000 signatures in January 2021.
On social media, Greene portrays himself as an opponent of political violence and considers Democrats to be the real instigators of political violence, real or imagined, that get away with threatening appeals to violence.
“Do any of you remember a day when talking about murdering the president resulted in being arrested? Like in prison in real life, not FB [Facebook] jail. When was that? Pre-2016 I think, right ??? But if you are a conservative, the story is different! “, Greene wrote in 2019.
While Greene notes in Facebook posts that she repudiates and denounces the violence, in the comment sections of Greene’s Facebook page, commentators often hope that politicians are executed by hanging or firing squad.
Elsewhere on his Facebook page, Greene liked comments that advocated the “arrest” of Obama and former Secretary of State John Kerry and a comment that said “TAKE that bitch”, referring to Obama or Kerry or possibly both. She also liked a comment calling for the start of “civil war 2.0”.
Greene, who embraced and spread the groundless conspiracy theory about a “deep state” working to usurp Trump’s agenda, suggested in Facebook posts that FBI agents disloyal to Trump were traitors.
She liked a comment that said, “Trump has already said that there are some great ones working with the FBI, but some have fallen and, frankly, need to be hanged for TREASON!” Another one she liked said: “These traitors need to be put to death as an example of what will no longer be tolerated in our country !!!”
