Aaron Rodgers had the ball in his hands as the Green Bay Packers tried to tie the NFC championship or at least get even closer to the lead at the end of the game.
Rodgers, in 3rd for the goal, with 2:15 to go to the end of the fourth, launched an incomplete pass to Davante Adams. Rodgers may have had the opportunity to pass the ball into the final zone or at least get close enough for Green Bay to try to make the fourth point in the 4th for the goal.

But in the 4th and 8th goal of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers line-up, coach Matt LaFlauer decided to kick a field goal to bring the game to less than five points with 2:05 remaining. Green Bay had all of its remaining timeouts and forced three interceptions on three of Tampa Bay’s last four trips.
But it would be the last time Rodgers would touch the ball.
The call was questioned aloud by fans watching the game on social media while LaFleur was quickly examined.

Rodgers was asked about the game call after the game.
“I didn’t have a decision on that. It wasn’t my decision. But understand the decision and think with all of our timeouts. But it wasn’t my decision,” he said, via NFL Network.
He added: “It will not haunt me, it will only hurt for a while.”
Rodgers said he was not sure what the next step would be.
He ended the 33-to-48 game with 346 passing yards, three touchdowns and an interception.
