Two of Samsung’s next Android tablets just leaked in all their glory (familiar)

Like one of the most successful tablet vendors in the world, Samsung, unsurprisingly, will seek to expand and further diversify its portfolio of products that rival the iPad this year. In addition to not one, but two different Galaxy Tab S7 Lite variants designed to follow in the footsteps of the 2020 single Tab S6 Lite model and an entirely new family of low-cost cards, the company is reportedly working hard on at least two Galaxy Tab 2021 series mid-rangers.

The appropriately but complicated Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2021) and Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2021) leaked in all their factory-based CAD glory earlier today, revealing … almost nothing remarkable or consequential in any obvious way.
Of course, the very fact that these impending affordable Android tablets look quite identical to their predecessors at first glance is noteworthy in itself, suggesting that Samsung could considerably update the internals and / or reduce the starting prices of its extremely popular mid-sized slates from 2020 and 2019.

O The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), for example, costs $ 240 or more in the U.S. with LTE support included. If the 2021 sequence really keeps the design language largely unchanged, with relatively thin bezels, a profile of 7 mm or more, a single rear camera and no fingerprint sensor, Samsung may well reduce that mobile-enabled price to only two Benjamins, making it even more difficult for Apple iPad mini to maintain its dominance in the tiny tablet market segment.

The 7.9-inch device launched in 2019 starts at a whopping $ 399, mind you, with a stunning Retina display and powerful Apple A12 Bionic processor on the deck, but a similarly unimpressive design and without 4G LTE connectivity in its basic configuration.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2021) seems designed to go after Amazon Fire HD 10 instead of Apple’s “normal” iPad, much like the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), which is still available in the United States for $ 230 or more in a Wi-Fi only version.

Very confused, Samsung also launched a 10.4-inch Galaxy Tab A7 model last year, which may or may not have a sequel of its own in 2021. Anyway, this year’s 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab A looks set to display rather thick screen frames as well as a single boring sniper aimed at the rear without LED flash, speakers with lower firing and, yes, a good old headphone connector too.

Unfortunately, there are no words yet on the specifications or release dates of these fast approaching Galaxy Tab A series devices.
