Pre-orders are open now and there is a luxury edition and a collector’s edition available. There is also a “visual demonstration” called Maiden available today, but is exclusive to PS5. It will arrive on additional platforms in the spring, Capcom said.

Capcom showed new game images for Villa during today’s flow, including combat, an inventory system that resembles resident Evil 4, and the introduction of The Duke, the obese game merchant. Villa stars Resident Evil 7: Biohazard protagonist Ethan Winters as he hunts his daughter in a Gothic castle full of puzzles, killer undead creatures and arrogant and well-dressed Edwardian women who sometimes turn into swarms of insects.
Capcom also lifted the lid To reverse, an online multiplayer game that pits classic Resident Evil characters against each other in five-minute rounds of four to six players. To reverse will be free for those who own Villa.
