Kyle Juszczyk made it to the Pro Bowl in each of his four seasons with the 49ers. Because of his versatility and skills, the 49ers have deployed the position of defender more than any other team in the league.
The 49ers are likely to be holding Mike McDaniel, the brain behind the team’s varied running attack. But LaFleur can be expected to install a similar attack with the Jets. He could use a defender like Juzczyk.
Juszczyk should be a top priority for 49ers to sign again, but the Jets must also have a significant interest.
