What “additional device categories” means is yet to be seen. Samsung’s chief of smartphones, TM Roh, previously confirmed that the company will bring some of Note’s “most beloved features” to other Galaxy devices. Many reports that circulated last year point to the Galaxy Fold receiving support for S Pen in the future, but non-Note devices will not have the same kind of seamless integration with the pen. While these rumors claim that future Fold devices will support the pen, they are not supposed to come with one. That doesn’t sound that far – get caught, since the S21 Ultra doesn’t come with an S Pen either, and you’ll have to use an old one or buy the thicker standalone model.
