“We know who you are if you’re there, and FBI agents are coming to look for you,” Wray said during an opening security meeting at the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s headquarters in Washington with Vice President Mike Pence.
“My advice to people who may be inclined to follow in the footsteps of those who were involved in the type of activity we saw last week is to stay at home,” he added. “See what’s happening now with the people who were involved in the Capitol siege.”

Wray also said that the FBI has “confidence” in its readiness and security around tenure next week.
“Our stance is aggressive. It will continue like this until the inauguration. So, in that line, we and our partners already arrested more than 100 people for their criminal activities in the Capitol siege last week and we continue to pursue numerous other related investigations.”
Wray warned that the FBI has seen “extensive” talks surrounding the inauguration, adding, “Together with our partners, we evaluate these threats and what kind of resources to use against them. We are currently tracking calls for possible armed protests.”
