Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, the newly elected Republican from Georgia, accessed Twitter on Wednesday to announce that she will be presenting impeachment articles against President-elect Joe Biden the day after his inauguration.
She said her motivation is to defend the 75 million Americans who are “fed up with the government’s inaction”.
BIDEN ‘WITHOUT FEAR’ TO SWEAR OUT
“It is time to take a stand,” she said. “I am proud to be the voice of the Republican voters who have been ignored.”
President Trump was impeached by the United States House for the second historic time on Wednesday, accused of “inciting insurrection” because of the deadly riot on Capitol Hill.
Ten Republicans fled Trump, joining Democrats who said he needed to be held accountable and threateningly warned of “a clear and present danger” if Congress left him out of control before Democrat Biden took office on January 20.

The congresswoman did not specify what exact accusation she would make against Biden, but she tweeted the now famous panel of discussions at the Council on Foreign Relations, where Biden spoke about how he asked Ukrainian authorities to fire Viktor Shokin, the country’s prosecutor in 2015, while he was vice president. Biden denied any wrongdoing.

Greene’s office and Biden’s transition team did not immediately respond to an out-of-hours e-mail from Fox News.
Greene’s move appears to be symbolic. Congress will be controlled by Democrats and she would need a simple majority of members to bring the charges to the Senate.
His announcement appears to be at odds with many of his own party who say Trump’s second impeachment was unnecessarily divisive at a time when the country needs to start coming together.
Greene had defended her decision not to wear a mask when locked in a safe room with other members of the House during Capitol riots and pushed against Democrats who are now blaming her and other members of the Republican Party without a mask for their recent positive tests for coronavirus.
She said she tested negative for COVID-19 on January 4 at the White House and does not believe that healthy Americans should be forced to wear a mask.
