Rebel Wilson’s dog care program, Pooch Perfect, is coming from Australia to America … with Lisa Vanderpump as a celebrity judge
Rebel Wilson’s Australian TV show, Pooch Perfect, found a home on the American television network ABC.
The 40-year-old woman, who was born in Sydney, hosted the first season of the dog grooming competition program on the Seven chain in her home country.
However, last October, it turned out that Seven was not taking the show for the second season, which is now arriving in the United States, People reports.

Rebel’s famous judges will be Lisa Vanderpump, as well as a veterinarian named Callie Harris and star dog handler Jorge Bendersky.
Jorge charges at least $ 300 an hour from a client list that includes Gisele Bundchen, Diddy and Ralph Lauren, he told Business Insider last year.
Meanwhile, Lisa was a true Beverly Hills housewife before giving up in the middle of a feud with her castmates, involving her Vanderpump Dogs foundation.
The second season of Pooch Perfect, whose title is a pun on Rebel’s film, Pitch Perfect, will have eight episodes with 10 participants, according to a press release.

The first season had the same number of episodes and contenders, but with dog stylists Amber Lewin and Colin Taylor as judges.
All participants in the program must be professional dog handlers and will have their assistants available to assist them.
On the Upfronts for the Seven network of 2021 last October, Pooch Perfect was found not to be on his list of candidates for this year.
During that time, it was theorized that ratings were the problem, as the show lost almost half its audience over the first season.

The first season was won by a pet salon owner named Wendy and her daughter Nikki, who received a $ 100,000 cash prize.
Although the awards for the American version of the program have not yet been announced, the names of some challenges have already been – Ultimutt Challenge and Immunity Puppertunity.
The press release says the contestants ‘will face each other in epic grooming transformations and showcase their incredible creations on the illustrious “dogwalk”.’
Rebel posted a video on Instagram announcing her big news on Wednesday and said the show ‘will be delicate’.
