New details of the allegedly leaked Cold War zombie map

There is a new leak for Black Ops Cold War Zombies that allegedly reveals details about a new map. However, we would take this one with a pinch of salt, however cool it seems.

Black Ops Cold War Zombies is an excellent addition to the undead line of Call of Duty. There is only one problem – Cold War launched with only a single map to play.

Although the new Cold War Zombie game modes dropped after launch, players are still waiting for the next major update. Fortunately, we know that a new Black Ops Cold War Zombies map will arrive in season two.

From what we have seen in the past, there is a great possibility that the new Cold War Zombie map will be set in Vietnam. However, a new leak appears to provide evidence of yet another map that we are only hearing about now.

It should be noted that this is a very strange leak, and you would be right to be skeptical about it. We are certainly not saying that this is correct, although we hope that it can be.

New Cold War Zombie Leak Reveals Demons

Thanks to a new leak, we know about a supposed hack map that was set to come to Zombies in the past. However, the leak also claims that the map, entitled Dead City, may well come to Black Ops Cold War in a future update.

As far as we can see, this is a very different view from Zombies, as players fight demons alongside the undead. In Dead City, players are supposed to go back to the 1930s-40s, to fight zombies and demons.

The themes of the leaked map include Hidden, Art Deco and Retro Future Sci-Fi, for a somewhat confusing mix. Furthermore, the players’ characters would be recognizable Hollywood actors, rather than the Operators brought to Die Maschine.

Each player’s character would have a unique ability, which can be increased throughout the game. In addition, there would be a new main mission for players to participate.

Somewhere in this main quest, players would have to “transform into a special demon to progress”. We are not denying that this leak from the Cold War Zombie map looks like fun, but its likelihood of being legitimate is small.

Is This Black Ops Cold War Zombies Leak Real?

Despite our concerns, this leak was retweeted by a trusted Call of Duty insider BKT00R on twitter. This could give the rumor some credibility, although we still have doubts.

The leak appears to have been taken from a Treyarch presentation, making it incredibly easy to fake. Still, if this is true, it will be a wild ride for Zombie fans.
