ORCHARD PARK, NY – Buffalo Bills maintained the lead on Saturday over the Indianapolis Colts in a 35-yard pass in the fourth quarter in their AFC wild-card game.

It was Allen’s third 30-yard run on Saturday. It is the first time that Allen completes three passes from over 30 air yards in a single game.

Bills took the lead in a shot put from Allen to tight end Dawson Knox.

In the second to 3 of the Colts’ 3-yard line, Allen took what appeared to be a planned race, but was quickly greeted by Indianapolis defenders Tyquan Lewis and Anthony Walker. Allen staggered to the right and stood just long enough to see Knox open in the end zone. When he was being thrown to the ground, Allen hurled the ball towards Knox, who caught it with no one around.

Allen was electric on the move, fighting 12 yards for a first down before hitting Diggs for a 36 yard gain on the next move. Diggs was hit almost immediately after the reception, but he held on to put the Bills on the Colts’ 37-yard line. Allen completed 5 of 7 passes on the move for 67 yards and the score.
