There was no reason to worry SeaShawn Lloyd and his status as a member of the South Carolina Gamecocks football team.
Considering everything that has happened in the past two months, it would be difficult to blame someone who strives for South Carolina. Then again, there are a lifetime (or more) of reasons to be anxious about anything related to Gamecock football.
But Lloyd, a runner back in freshman year, has yet to give cause for concern. Despite everything that has changed around him since he committed, signed and joined the Gamecocks football program, his position has not changed.
“I’m with you,” Lloyd tweeted to the South Carolina coach Shane Beamer Thursday afternoon.
The tweet was posted a few hours after the offensive coordinator Mike Bobo and offensive line coach Will be friend were hired at Auburn. Jaheim Bell, one of Lloyd’s classmates in the 2020 recruiting cycle, offered a vote of confidence to his head coach.
“I’m with you,” Bell tweeted to Beamer.
Bell, a four-star recruit like Lloyd, is a tight end freshman for the Gamecocks. Another former four-star recruit, Keveon Mullins, tweeted what Lloyd said.
“Facts.”
Lloyd’s tweet was posted moments after Lloyd’s friend, Darryl Williams, announced it was moving from Delaware.
