Governor Cuomo will not attend Buffalo Bills playoff game

Governor Andrew Cuomo said on Wednesday that he will not be attending the Buffalo Bills playoff game on Saturday in Orchard Park, NY, because he needs to stay in Albany to work on his statewide speech.

The news comes just days after Bills fans started a petition calling for Cuomo’s ban on watching the game. The petition, which was created because the creator felt that Cuomo should not attend because of his political stance in the previous eight home games, won more than 35,000 signatures.

“So, Cuomo goes to our playoff game after telling us that we can only participate with less than 10% of the capacity?” wrote the creator of the petition Jeffrey Dorenzo. “If he thinks he is more entitled to a seat in that stadium than people who have waited more than 20 years for this opportunity, it is best that people are there to protest against his entry. This is OUR team! This is our home. We don’t want you here. “

Finally, Cuomo will not be present and will instead give his ticket to an ECMA nurse.
