The 46-year-old man ABC 10 he visited a COVID-19 drive-up test site where he received his positive diagnosis. The experts shared with the media the different factors that may have influenced the result, despite the nurse being vaccinated against the deadly virus.

theGrio reported that Pfizer revealed in November that the vaccine developed with BioTech was 95% effective against the coronavirus and hoped to obtain emergency use to slow the spread of COVID-19.
“This is an extraordinarily strong protection,” said Dr. Ugur Sahin, CEO and co-founder of BioNTech, according to the report.
Dr. Ramers informed ABC 10 that he is aware of several incidents in which health professionals tested positive for COVID-19 at the same time that they received the vaccine. In addition to the 10 to 14-day incubation period, Ramers said that some doctors and nurses, unknowingly, already had coronaviruses before receiving the injection.
He also clarified that vaccination requires two doses for full effectiveness. For him, it is proof that the use of the mask, hand washing and social distance should continue as long as the vaccine continues to be administered worldwide.
‘That first dose, we think it is around 50%, and you need the second dose to reach 95% ”, he commented to the media. “You hear healthcare professionals being very optimistic about being the beginning of the end, but it will be a slow process, weeks to months as we launch the vaccine.”
According theGrio, another element that society must combat with the implementation of vaccination is the dissemination of false information on social networks. Home Intelligence Chair Adam Schiff wants social media companies to do more than tag misleading publications.
“Mistrust of vaccines has increased with loud voices using platforms to spread fear,” he said, according to the report. Schiff continued, “enforcement will always be stuck in a system designed to promote the most engaging content and not the most truthful one.”
