The 67th National Film Awards are being announced today. The awards are for films of the year 2019.
The commercial and critically acclaimed film by Natural Star Nani, Jersey, won two national awards, including the best regional film. Editor Naveen Nooli also won the award.
Jersey was directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri under Sithara Entertainments. The film won several other awards preciously.
The director is remaking Jersey in Bollywood with the same title. Shahid Kapoor took over from Nani for the Hindi version.
