5 Roku offers: our favorite TV broadcast devices are on sale

Roku does great streaming devices. Its interface is not the most modern or eye-catching, but it is very simple to set up and use – even those less tech-savvy can discover it. If you recently cut ties with the cable or just need to update your current configuration, Roku is a solid way to go.

Most of the Roku devices we have tested and recommended are currently discounted, so this is a good time to buy if you are looking for one.

Roku deals we found

Roku has a lot of devices, so we’ve made a guide to finding the right Roku for you. Whether you want to spend as little as possible on a small, unassuming device or can jump to the soundbar, there is something in the Roku family that should meet your needs.

  • Best Choice – Streaming Stick Plus for $ 43 ($ 7 off): Streaming Stick Plus works with HD or 4K HDR TVs and is our choice for most people. It has dual band Wi-Fi with a longer range and can connect to 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks – which is particularly good if you live in an apartment in the city. In addition, it has voice search and the remote control can control the volume and power of the TV. Just make sure your TV has a point for it to stand out from the HDMI port. It also has a discount on Amazon, but it costs a little more, $ 46.
  • Roku Ultra for $ 91 ($ 9 off): We saw that price in the last month or so. Ultra’s features are similar to Streaming Stick Plus, but it has a faster processor that makes it better for streaming live TV. There’s a headset on the remote (and it comes with a nice pair of headphones) so you can watch TV at night without waking your housemates.
  • Roku Premiere for $ 25 ($ 10 off): The debut is the skeleton. It has no voice search and you cannot control the volume or power of the TV with the remote control. Choose this if you want to spend as little as possible, but still get support for your 4K TV. You can also get it from Target.
  • Roku Smart Soundbar for $ 150 ($ 30 off): If you spend a lot of time watching TV or movies, a sound bar is a good investment. This one has an integrated Roku, so you don’t have to worry about setting up multiple devices. It does not have a subwoofer, so we recommend it for smaller rooms. We have a complete sound bar guide, if you want to explore other, more advanced audio options.
  • Roku Streambar for $ 110 ($ 20 off): The Streambar is more compact than the sound bar above. It’s only $ 40 cheaper, so if you have space, it probably makes sense to spend the extra money to get the best sound, but the Streambar is good for smaller spaces, as it’s only 14 inches long. You can get it at a discount at Target as well.

If you are not convinced that Roku will work for you, we also have a guide on the best streaming devices from all the major brands. I suggest looking at Chromecast with Google TV.
