5 Philadelphia Eagles that should stay in reserve for the remainder of 2020

Let’s play some guys on the bench if the Philadelphia Eagles don’t!

At this point, there is no need to question your intelligence with things you already know or other arguments that we are already tired of hearing. Yes, Jalen Hurts is a stallion. It is highly possible that Philadelphia Eagles executive vice president and general manager Howie Roseman was right to catch this guy and we were wrong to guess the choice. A year has not even passed and Carson Wentz is in the bank.

Perhaps the ‘quarterback factory’ thing was a lie. Maybe the Eagles were cornered and had to pay Wentz, but they still weren’t sure if he was the guy, so they took Hurts as insurance. Of course, they didn’t say that. What should they say? Do we know if we believe in Carson Wentz or not?

No, there is not a fan on this planet who believes that Doug Pederson has the power he claims to have. Playing Wentz for so long may not have been your decision. Then again, it may not have been your decision to get Hurts out of the bank either. We may never know what really happened.

All we know is this. It is difficult to know what this team is thinking at times. Who knows why Jim Schwartz never found out that Alex Singleton should have started Nathan Gerry again or why Will Parks was gone. Maybe Gerry has something dirty with Schwartz. Here’s what we can probably agree on. Carson Wentz cannot be inserted back into the Hurts lineup or there could be a revolt, but 11 was not the only problem for this team. Here are five out of about eight or nine other birds that must join him on the bench.
