The finalists will be introduced to the 48-member Professional Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee the day before the Super Bowl LV. The selection committee will elect a maximum of five players from the Modern Era to the Class of 2021.

The Professional Football Hall of Fame 2021 class will be determined and announced during the week leading up to the Super Bowl LV in Tampa, Florida.
