It looks like Hong Kong customs is having a good day, having seized about 300 of NVIDIA’s new CMP (Crypto Mining Processors) mining slabs.

According to MyDrivers, Hong Kong customs seized crypto mining GPUs in an attempt to smuggle – but that is not what you should do when, in some regions, China prohibits crypto mining farms. There has been a huge increase in demand for electricity at crypto mining farms, which enjoy cheap electricity prices in many regions of China.
About 65% of the global mining energy needs are supplied by China, according to estimates, and because of this the government has severely restricted cryptographic mining farms. NVIDIA’s 300 new crypto mining GPUs have been seized, with the base CMP 30HX seized in large quantities.

Now imagine seeing all these cryptographic mining cards and not being able to do anything about it – you can’t use them as game video cards, as they don’t have a video output – and you know there are 300 of them there for crypto mining with cheap electricity = foolish not to do that.
