3 women arrested in connection with the attack on the Popeyes restaurant

LANTANA, Fla. – The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office arrested three of the four women they believe were involved in an attack and theft at a Popeyes restaurant in Lantana, authorities announced on Friday.

Brianna Toombs, 19, Chloe Arieigha Hernandez, 21, and Joanna Ceidi, 19, all from West Palm Beach, were arrested on charges of gun theft and assault theft.

According to the deputies, the women were at a Popeyes’ drive-thru on Block 7000 on Seacrest Boulevard on Tuesday afternoon when they started a verbal argument with the cashier.

What happened next was captured on the cell phone video.

Delegates said the suspects spit and attacked the employee who worked the drive-through.

Two of the women got out of the car and attacked two other employees inside the restaurant, officials said.

One of the women is also accused of reaching into the drive-through window and taking money from the cash register.

Authorities said the four women got in the car and drove away.
