Since switching to James Harden, Brooklyn Nets are 15-7 and have won eight of their last nine games, before losing to Luka Doncic and the Mavericks the other night. Harden has been incredibly good for Brooklyn this NBA season and currently leads the league in assists.

All three Nets superstars have taken on new roles and if they continue to play at a high level, it will be incredibly difficult for any team to beat the Nets in a series of 7 games in the playoffs. They are so dynamic and can beat any other team in the league, which is why they have a great chance of winning this year.

Although they have Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden, the Nets RPG players have really helped to shape this team into what it is. Joe Harris, DeAndre Jordan, Jeff Green and Bruce Brown played fantastic roles in their secondary roles this season and are a big part of why Brooklyn has been so successful up to this point in the season.

This team already has the qualities of a champion team, but it could try one more move to solidify itself as a winning team. Spencer Dinwiddie fell earlier this year with a torn ACL and will not be returning to Brooklyn this year, making him and his $ 11.4 million contract for this season expendable.

Dinwiddie is an excellent player, but with Brooklyn going “all-in” by winning a championship this year, he is almost a deadweight in his lineup and his contract can be leveraged by someone who can step in and help make a difference for this team chances of winning everything. This will be something to be closely monitored in rumors about NBA negotiations.

Let’s take a look at three trading scenarios that the Brooklyn Nets should consider before the negotiation deadline involving Spencer Dinwiddie.
