There are more reports that Jim Harbaugh and Michigan football will agree to an extension soon and, if he does, here are three dream assistant coach signings.

There has been a lot of talk about Michigan football and Jim Harbaugh reaching an agreement on a new contract, and on Saturday, another media outlet reported that a deal was closed.

This time, it was Bruce Feldman who reported on Twitter that Harbaugh and the Wolverines were close to a deal on a new deal by 2026.

This follows a report by Chris Balas of The Wolverine (mandatory subscription) Friday that something could be announced in a few days.

Feldman’s information confirms this and is the first national reporter to actually disclose something like that. The duration of the deal is longer than previously reported. But doing something is the most important thing.

Now, it’s time to fill the rest of the team, which is something that Balas indicated could happen very soon too, especially now with the bowl season almost over, except for one game.

Since the resignation of defensive coordinator Don Brown, much has been said about who would replace him, as well as about other additions that could be made to the team.

And now that it looks like Harbaugh will be back with the Wolverines, it looks like a good chance to see some of the signings that Harbaugh can do in the next few days to help him reverse that program forever.
