3 COVID-19 vaccine mega-sites in NJ close by because of snowstorm

NEW JERSEY – Governor Phil Murphy announced that three COVID-19 vaccination sites will be closed on Sunday because of the snowstorm that is expected to hit New Jersey.

Appointments scheduled for Sunday have been moved to dates next week.

The other three sites will remain open.

Individual health care providers will contact by phone, e-mail and / or text message to reschedule any Sunday appointments at the closed megatrends, said Murphy.

The vaccination call center will be open from 8 am to 8 pm for pre-registration, clarifying doubts and scheduling the first dose.

To contact the vaccination center, dial: 855-568-0545.

Murphy acted as a winter storm alert that remained in effect for 16 counties on Sunday for New Jersey’s second winter storm of the week, bringing up to 20 inches for Garden State. Read More: NJ Weather: Latest Snow Estimates with Winter Storm Alert Issued
