3 bold predictions against South Carolina at Week 10

The number 7 of Texas A&M football has to keep winning a lot to compete in the College Football Playoff, as it will face South Carolina on the road.

In the 2020 season, there are many legitimate candidates for the College Football Playoff. With so many teams still in the running and others coming in, the teams currently in the running will need big wins and pass the eyesight test.

The 7th Texas A&M Aggies (4-1) is among some of the teams that need to remain solid throughout the remaining season for a playoff spot. After a difficult period of two games to start the season with a tight win over Vanderbilt and a tough loss to No. 2 Alabama, the Aggies are on a three-game winning streak against an impressive opponent.

South Carolina (2-3), on the other hand, went through a significant season of ups and downs in 2020. Gamecocks narrowly lost at home to Tennessee, followed by two big wins over Vanderbilt and No. 24 Auburn. Finally, the Gamecocks suffered an embarrassing 52-24 defeat to the LSU Tigers two weeks ago.

This Saturday, the Aggies travel to Columbia, SC, to face the Gamecocks to continue their potential run for the college football Playoff. The Aggies and Gamecocks have met a total of six times since the Aggies joined the SEC in 2012. Texas A&M won all six as it plans to continue the streak as it is a 10-point favorite over South Carolina.

This will be a great game for both teams, as the Aggies need big wins and the Gamecocks need a win to have some positive momentum that can save coach Will Muschamp’s work.

Here are three bold predictions for the game.
