Maine (WABI) – The latest figures released by the Maine CDC show 267 new cases of coronavirus in our state.

One person from Penobscot and another from Cumberland County died of the virus.

This has raised the death toll to 632 people in Maine since the pandemic began.

The total number of cases now stands at 40,799 since the pandemic began in March.

Of these, 32,729 are confirmed by the Maine CDC.

46 coronavirus patients are in intensive care at hospitals across the state. Of these, 22 are on fans.

Kennebec County is reporting 28 new cases.

Penobscot County has 19, 7 in Somerset County.

Waldo County reporting only one new case.
