Another approximately 25,000 consultations for eligible workers and people over 65 in Riverside County to receive the coronavirus vaccine became available on Friday, February 12, with about 5,000 more in the next week.
Appointments are at locations across Riverside County for Wednesday, February 17, until Tuesday, February 23.
Phase 1A and Phase 1B – Level 1 workers, described at https://www.rivcoph.org/COVID-19-Vaccine, can receive the vaccine if they bring identification or a letter from their employer demonstrating their eligibility. Health, grocery and school officials are among those eligible. Those over 65 must bring an identity document.
Older residents who need help making an appointment can dial 2-1-1 or 951-329-4703, depending on the county.
The new appointments consist of 14,000 consultations for the first dose and 11,600 for the second dose, said County spokeswoman Brooke Federico.
