The new M5 CS will have 626 horsepower from its 4.4-liter biturbo V-8, an increase of nine HP over the current M5 Competition Pack. The torque remains the same at 553 lb-ft, but before you are disappointed with these small engine changes, be aware that BMW claims that the CS will be more than 150 pounds lighter than the normal M5. This is partly thanks to a carbon fiber hood and the carbon anatomical seats of the new M3 / M4.
In an Instagram Live story, Flasch also revealed the finish of the M5 CS’s bronze kidney grille and yellow headlights. The car also has very tasty gold forged wheels, with standard carbon ceramic brakes behind them. These wheels are packed with Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tires measuring 275/35 at the front and 285/35 at the rear.
