2021 Super Bowl: The Weeknd spent $ 7 million to “make this halftime show what he imagined,” said the manager

Weeknd is spending a lot of money on his appearance on the Super Bowl halftime show.

The 30-year-old “Blinding Lights” singer and his team recently spoke to Billboard magazine and revealed that he spent an incredible $ 7 million to ensure that his Halftime Show performance would go as planned.

“We are really focusing on attracting fans at home and making presentations a cinematic experience, and we want to do that with the Super Bowl,” Weeknd told Billboard.

Weeknd manager Wassim Slaiby then pointed out that while event organizers pay the bill, Weeknd contributed $ 7 million of his own money to “make this halftime show what he imagined.”
