The NFL’s 2021 Draft order got a jolt on Sunday, but not at the top. The Jacksonville Jaguars and the New York Jets retain the top spot, despite New York achieving its second victory in two weeks. This victory, combined with the defeat of the Jaguars, keeps both teams in place in the final week of the season.

The change in the draft order this week started to take place in third place overall, where the Cincinnati Bengals stole the victory over the Houston Texans.

This is what the NFL 2021 Draft order looks like after Sunday’s wild finals:

  1. Jaguars (1-14)
  2. Jets (2-13)
  3. Hawks (4-11)
  4. Dolphins (via Texans) (4-11)
  5. Bengals (4-10-1)
  6. Eagles (4-10-1)
  7. Giants (5-10)
  8. Lions (5-10)
  9. Panthers (5-10)
  10. Broncos (5-10)
  11. Chargers (6-9)
  12. Cowboys (6-9)
  13. Vikings (6-9)
  14. 49ers (6-9)
  15. Patriots (6-8) *
  16. Raiders (7-8)
  17. Cardinals (8-7)
  18. Colts (10-5)

* Play Monday night against the Bills

Miami could make it to the playoffs and have a choice in Houston’s top five, as Texans are still paying their share in Laremy Tunsil’s trade. The Dolphins took fifth place last year when they selected Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

NFC East will finally recover next week, with the four teams playing against each other, leaving a champion. Most likely, two of the others will choose from the top ten. One thing is for sure: the NFC East winner will end with a record below 0.500.

Reese’s Senior Bowl is scheduled to be played on January 30, 2021. The NFL has yet to say whether it will host the combination or not. If they do, how different will it be?

The NFL’s 2021 Draft is scheduled to be held in Cleveland from April 29 to May 1.

Fans can check the ratings of potential candidates from CBS Sports, as well as simulated drafts updated with the new order each week. The first of the week comes out Tuesday.
