The regular season in the National Football League is officially in the books, and that means that the first 18 places in the 2021 NFL Draft have been determined.

After the events of Week 17, your Minnesota Vikings will be selected at # 14 overall in the first round. The complete order of the choices that have already been determined is listed below. The numbers after each team are your records, followed by your programming strength. In the event that two teams are on time, the team with the lowest strength of the schedule receives the best choice.

  3. Miami Dolphins (from Houston Texans, 4-12, 0.541)

  4. Atlanta Falcons (4-12, 0.551)

  5. Cincinnati Bengals (4-11-1, 0.529)

  6. Philadelphia Eagles (4-11-1, 0.537)

  7. Detroit Lions (5-11, 0.508)

  8. Carolina Panthers (5-11, 0.531)

  9. Denver Broncos (5-11, 0.566)

  10. Dallas Cowboys (6-10, .471)

  11. New York Giants (6-10, 0.502)

  12. San Francisco 49ers (6-10, 0.549)

  13. Los Angeles Chargers (7-9, 0.482)

  14. Minnesota Vikings (7-9, 0.504)

As for the rest of the choices:

  • Choices 19 through 24 will be filled by teams that lose the Wild Card weekend
  • Choices 25 to 28 will be filled by teams that lose in the Divisional Round
  • Choices 29 and 30 will be filled by teams that lose the Conference Championship Games
  • Choice 31 will be filled by the team that loses the Super Bowl
  • Choice 32 will be filled by the Super Bowl winning team

For those who are still salty that the Vikings had the courage to win on Sunday, the way the other games ended, the Vikings who defeated the lions on Sunday “cost” them exactly two spots in the draft order. If Minnesota had lost and all other results remained the same, they would have been in 12th place.
