Sam Burns will try to hold a group of heavy hitters on the Genesis Invitational on Sunday and get his first victory on the PGA Tour. Things will start early at the Riviera Country Club, when the third round is restarted. Burns has a two-shot lead on the pitch, but several important winners at his heels like Dustin Johnson, Patrick Cantlay, Matthew Fitzpatrick and Jordan Spieth are chasing.
Whatever happens on the last day of the tournament to complete the west coast swing, it will be dramatic. It is always when someone looking for the first one is trying to take it home, and DJ and Spieth are involved. Riviera should also be in the spotlight, as it has been playing like a big championship all week and should continue this trend throughout Sunday in this Genesis final.
