2021 Ford F-150 Raptor Teaser reveals the face of the Muscle Truck, debut date

While we already know about the Ford F-150 Raptor 2021’s release date on February 3, a new teaser image says the launch will take place at 11:00 AM ET. In addition, this is our first official look without camouflage on the latest iteration of the performance boost.

The teaser image corresponds to a diagram of castings from the front of the new Raptor. Ford’s letters dominate the grid and the rest has a thick pattern mesh. Along the top edge, there are three thin, separate lights.

A glimpse of the hood reveals raised sections with a black finish on each side. There is also a large black section in the center.

A teaser on Facebook (above) offers a glimpse of the entire truck. Playing Metallica’s opening Enter Sandman it’s a nice touch on the video of Raptor running through the desert.

The 2021 Raptor will come standard with a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, according to a leaked dealer’s ordering guide. It is unclear whether the engine power has the same power as the original 450 horsepower (336 kilowatt) and 510 pound-feet (691 newton-meter) version. It wouldn’t be much of a surprise if Ford increased the numbers a little just for bragging rights.

Judging by the leak note in some spy videos, Ford may also be working on a V8 engine for the Raptor. Judging by the leaked dealer’s guide, it looks like this engine would arrive later in the vehicle’s race.

You can get the Raptor in eight colors: Code Orange, Rapid Red, Velocity Blue, Antimatter Blue, Iconic Silver, Lead Foot, Agate Black and Oxford White. Buyers will also be able to add a two-panel moonroof for $ 1,495.

Other adjustments expected for the Raptor compared to the standard F-150 include a high driving height and sophisticated suspension to absorb bumps. A sophisticated four- and four-wheel drive system (depending on the mode) should decrease energy.
