2 teenagers arrested in connection with the death of a UArizona student

TUCSON, Arizona (KGUN) – Two other 17-year-olds were arrested in connection with the shooting death of a University of Arizona student in a parking lot last Saturday night.

Tucson police held a news conference on Saturday about the latest arrests made in connection with the murder.

On Saturday morning, detectives announced the arrest of two more individuals in the death of the 20-year-old Forrest Keys. He was the student killed in a shootout in the Cherry Avenue parking lot on Saturday night, according to the Tucson Police Department.

During the investigation, detectives established the probable cause and identified Roberto Joaquin Camargo, 17, and Ruben Young, 17, as suspects in Keys’ death.

The TPD says footage from the garage security camera showed Keys arguing with someone in a red Cadillac sedan before anyone shot him.

On Friday afternoon, the TPD found and arrested Camargo and Young.

On Thursday, the TPD arrested Alonzo Orosco, 17, who faces charges of first-degree murder and shooting.

Both were charged at Pima County Jail and are accused as adults of first-degree murder and shooting.

The TPD is asking anyone with information about this case to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
