The crews battled the smoke and heavy flames until they were finally able to contain the fire.

The names of the victims have not yet been released and authorities are still working to determine the cause of the fire. The deputies said the deaths are considered suspect.

Michael Schadow, who lives in the neighborhood where the fire occurred, said it is tragic to see what happened at his neighbor’s house.

“We are always walking around the neighborhood at night or early in the morning, so it is really shocking to find out if people have passed and lost their lives,” said Schadow.

Schadow has lived there for decades and said the fire was unlike anything he had ever seen.

“I have been here for 23 three years and have never seen a fire like this,” said Schadow.

No other details were immediately available.
