1930s Alert! Cold front brings drastic changes to Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. – A cold front will bring major changes in Central Florida’s climate.

After reaching the 80’s high in Orlando on Sunday, we will end only in the low 60’s on Monday, with some showers and thunderstorms extending into the morning.

The normal high in Orlando on this date is 72. The record is 86, set in 1985.

The cold front advances in the afternoon and temperatures will drop dramatically.

Tuesday and Wednesday morning casualties will be in their 30s across Central Florida.

There will be a wind chill alert in place on Tuesday morning, as the wind continues to rise and temperatures continue to fall.

Expect maximums in the 50s on Tuesday and 60s on Wednesday.

We will stay dry until Friday, then the chances of rain returning to 30% on Saturday and Sunday, with high temperatures close to 80 at the end of the week.
