11 Sixers appear in the NBA injury report on Friday night, while the team awaits the results of the COVID-19 test

Eleven Sixers appeared in the NBA injury report published Friday night at 8:30 pm

Listed as out of the game scheduled for Saturday against the Nuggets for reasons unrelated to COVID-19 are Furkan Korkmaz (left adductor strain), Mike Scott (left knee injury) and Terrance Ferguson (personal reasons).

What is more significant is that seven players are listed as questionable because of the health and safety protocols. A source told NBC Sports Philadelphia that the team is awaiting the results of the COVID-19 test and contact tracking.

Questionable players are:

  • Joel Embiid
  • Danny Green
  • Tobias Harris
  • Shake Milton
  • Vincent Poirier
  • Paul Reed
  • Matisse Thybulle

Seth Curry is listed as out because of health and safety protocols. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Thursday that the Sixers learned of the positive Curry test for COVID-19 during their defeat to the Nets. Curry was seen in the broadcast of TNT wearing a mask during the first trimester.

Once the Sixers receive the test results and the contact tracking is complete, there should be more clarity about what comes next. For now, much is questionable.
