Tammy Slaton is opening up about her sexuality, proving to be pansexual.
Although she was nervous to share, the 1000 pounds Sisters star, 34, recently told her two-year-old boyfriend Jerry for the first time.
Slaton, who was at a restaurant with Jerry, his sister Amy and Amy’s husband Michael, initially hesitates when she will tell him in this exclusive clip from Monday’s episode. But after Jerry reassures her that she “can tell me anything,” Slaton says that she is pansexual.

Jerry is initially confused and asks if it means that she would date a transsexual man.
“Yes. Or girl. It’s about how they make me feel, not how they look,” she explains.

In a separate interview, Slaton says he realized his true sexuality after talking to a friend.
“I always thought I was bisexual, so I started talking to one of my friends and she told me she was pansexual, and I asked her what it meant,” said Slaton. “It means that you love everyone, not just the same sex. And I thought, ‘Well, I think I am, too’ because I wouldn’t mind being with someone who is transgender or something.
After Slaton explains his feelings, Jerry says to her, “I still love you.”
“I’m still trying to figure out what that means, but I’m fine with that. I love Tammy the way she is,” he said in a separate interview.

Slaton says he is satisfied with Jerry’s reaction.
“I’m happy because he accepted it very well,” she says. “Accepting people’s sexuality is important to me.”
1000 pounds Sisters airs on Mondays at 10 / 9c on TLC.
