    1. Mitch McConnell links stimulus checks to technology legislation. Majority leader in the Republican Senate, Mitch McConnell, introduced a bill linking the $ 2,000 stimulus checks to the repeal of Section 230 and a new commission to study electoral fraud.
    2. An Apple vendor may be using Uighur slave labor. Lens Technology, a longtime glass supplier for iPhones, uses forced labor by Uighur minorities in its factories, according to a new report.
    3. Apple loses legal challenge. The iPhone maker lost an initial lawsuit in its copyright lawsuit against Corellium, a security company that offers a virtualized version of iOS for security testing. A judge ruled that the product was of fair use, The Washington Post reported.

    6. Japan wants to reduce space waste. Kyoto University is teaming up with a Japanese forestry company, Sumitomo Forestry, to develop wooden satellites to be placed in orbit by 2023 in order to reduce space waste.
    7. Intel shares rise after letter from activist. The chipmaker’s shares rose 8% after activist hedge fund Third Point sent a letter urging it to explore strategic alternatives.
