10 Bay Area ZIP Codes prioritized by the state – NBC Bay Area

California is reserving 40% of all doses of the COVID-19 vaccine for people living in vulnerable CEPs, with high rates of infection and low income.

Ten of these zip codes are in the bay area: two are in San Francisco, one is in Contra Costa County, three are in Alameda County and four are in Solano County.

Postal codes are determined by income, education level and access to health care.

If you live in one of these areas, your municipality should start sending more doses to local vaccination posts.

If you registered at myturn.ca.gov and are eligible to receive the vaccine based on your age, work or health conditions, you will receive a text message with an access code to make an appointment.

The state says that text messages to the new target clinics may not start until the end of March.
