COLOMBIA, SC (AP) – A shootout outside a motorcycle shop in South Carolina on Thursday left one person dead and four others injured, officials said.
MPs have not made any arrests and are still trying to determine what led to the shooting at around 4 pm at Capital City Cycles in Columbia, said Richland County sheriff spokesman Brittany Hart.
Investigators do not know if the shooting involved a motorcycle gang or if any of the victims knew each other, Hart said at a news conference
“We are exploring all avenues,” said Hart.
All five people were shot outside the motorcycle shop, which is close to the US Highway 1 exit, off Interstate 77 in northeastern Columbia, Hart said.
The deputies did not immediately disclose the condition of any of the injured or the name of the dead person.
