SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Wis. – A child drowned on Sunday afternoon after falling on the ice in Marquette County.
According to a press release, the authorities responded to a call at around 12:30 pm that several Amish children fell on the ice in Lake Twin.
The statement said the five children were skating on ice; four of them managed to get out of the water, while a child drowned.
The incident is not considered suspect, but remains under investigation.
