It is safe to say that Cyberpunk 2077 did not live up to expectations, although it is still a very fun game.
Many of the things that were promised in the game are missing and CD Projekt Red spent most of December struggling to save its reputation.
January 2021 Update
The next game update, update 1.07, will come in January 2021.
This will be followed by a major content update in February.
These two updates are said to “fix the most prominent problems” with regards to the doors of the latest generation.
Release date of
An official release date for the patch has not yet been released, only that it will arrive in January.

With CD Projekt Red in damage control mode now, it would make sense for the update to arrive sooner or later.
Therefore, the update is likely to arrive in the next two weeks.
Patch notes
Update 1.07 has no formal patch notes yet, but we expect it to be much larger than the previous patch, update 1.06.
Update 1.06 was a major update that had many issues resolved.
Corrections include:
- Dum Dum will no longer disappear from the entrance to Totentanz during Second Conflict.
- Improved memory and stability management, resulting in fewer crashes.
- Removed the saved file size limit of 8 MB. Note: This does not fix saved saved files before upgrading.
File size
Update 1.06 was 18 GB in size, about 1/3 the total size of games.
1.07 is expected to be even greater, as it addresses most of the game’s initial problems.
Free DLC
It has been confirmed that the Cyberpunk 2077 DLC will arrive in early 2021.
There is no official word on what the DLC will be, but CDPR has promised several pieces of free content, in addition to paid DLC later.
